Written Policy Statement For Dealing With Abusive Behaviour

NW Academy is committed to maintaining a safe and friendly learning and work environment for all students and staff and will not tolerate any form of abusive behaviour. All reports of abusive behaviour will be taken seriously by the management of NW Academy.

Abusive behaviour includes, but is not limited to, acts or threats of violence, use of abusive language and racial and sexual harassment.

NW Academy has instituted several disciplinary procedures for dealing with abusive behaviour, depending on the seriousness of the incident. In the case of students, abusive behaviour may result in verbal or written warnings, suspension of classes or expulsion from the school without a refund of tuition fees. In the case of NW Academy staff, abusive behaviour may result in verbal or written warnings or the termination of employment.
