North West Academy of English is an authorised and listed Trinity College exam preparation centre for those who want to apply for a SELT (Secure English Language Test) that is approved for UKV applications.
From November 2015, if you want to apply for a Spouse/Partner visa, Indefinite Leave to Remain (Settlement/Permanent Residency) or British Citizenship (Naturalisation), you will have to take a Secure English Language Test (SELT).
What we offer:
- Test preparation for Trinity GESE Grade 2 – CEFR A1 in listening and speaking (for further leave to remain).
- Test preparation for Trinity GESE Grade 3 – CEFR A2 in listening and speaking (for further leave to remain (visa extension)/family route leave to remain).
- Test preparation for Trinity GESE Grade 5 – CEFR B1 in listening and speaking (for indefinite leave to remain or British Citizenship).
The preparation for these exams will be done in North West Academy of English and the exam will be taken by Trinity London at their testing centre in Cromac Square, Belfast.

Course Content
Trinity GESE Preparation Courses include a variety of activities to encourage students to attain the desired grade.
Speaking: conversations, class discussions and exam speaking practice.
Pronunciation: students will be encouraged to improve their pronunciation throughout the course.
Grammar: reviewing and practicing key points of grammar and usage.
Exams: specialized exam preparation.
